Madison has been dancing since the age of 3. At the age of 6, she began solo competitions. By age 7, she took out the Adjudicators Award at the Sunshine Coast Dance Eisteddfod.
In October 2009, the Wynnum Herald awarded Madi first prize in the Quest Newspapers Arts & Education Youngstar Awards. The same year, she also auditioned successfully for a place in the Australian Ballet School’s 2010 ITP program.
Now 10 years old, Madi has received scholarships in both Classical and Jazz from the Queensland Australian Teachers of Dance (ATOD). Brisbane City Youth Ballet (BCYB) wants to include Madison in its 2011 season, which will give her the opportunity to perform in Sleeping Beauty.
Madi represented Australia in the World Championships of Performing Arts in Los Angeles in July 2011 and was awarded WCOPA Junior World Champion of Dance (5-15 years).
